How to reclaim items that were returned by mistake
Mistakes happen, and sometimes the wrong device or personal belongings are sent to our warehouse unintentionally. While returning personal items is not covered in our general terms and conditions (check our legal notice at the end of this article), we’re here to help. If you’ve accidentally sent something to the Grover warehouse, here’s what to do.
What should I do if I return the wrong device?
If you accidentally returned the wrong Grover device, or a personal device, please contact our support team for help.
How do I claim belongings that were sent to the warehouse?
To claim your belongings, please contact our support team and describe the item that you mistakenly sent. When we find the item, we’ll let you know. Then, you’ll need to send us a paid-for return shipping label that will cover the cost of returning the item to you. Be aware: you are responsible for covering the cost of the shipping.
When you have sent us the paid for shipping label, our warehouse team will prepare and package your belongings and hand them over to DHL for shipping within 30 days.
Tips to ensure a successful delivery when creating your return shipping label
- Go to DHL to start the process.
- Complete the required information—our warehouse address should be listed as the sender on your shipping label:
INGRAM MICRO SERVICES (Ohl Solutions GmbH)
Tor 11 - 12
Lise Meitner Strasse 23
24941 Flensburg
- Select Disclosure in case of an unsuccessful delivery, the Return option will not be accepted.
- Do not select the Pick up option, as our warehouse is not accessible to the public.
We recommend to use the transport insurance option to ensure that the goods will be covered in case of loss.
What if I don’t claim my belongings?
Our policy is to securely store money, ID documents, or electronic devices that do not belong to Grover for up to 3 months. If they’re not claimed during this period, our warehouse team will destroy them. Unfortunately, any other returned items must be disposed of.
