What does Grover Care cover?
Grover Care is our in-house damage protection program. If your device accidentally breaks and you’re protected with Grover Care, you only pay a repair service fee instead of the full repair costs to get a replacement device. The amount of the service fee depends on your Grover Care option.
We don't count small scratches and normal signs of use as severe damage and always remove them for free. Our example photos show the difference between normal signs of use and more severe damage.
We also won’t charge for any device errors or defects from the manufacturer. But please report device errors as soon as you notice them.
What does Grover Care not cover?
Grover Care does not cover lost, stolen, or intentionally damaged products. Please contact our support team immediately in case of theft or loss of your device.
Grover Care also does not cover damaged or lost components of your device. Components are all parts that were delivered together with your device, for example, batteries, chargers, charging cables, carry straps, remote controls, manuals, etc.
What are repair service fees?
With Grover Care, if you damage your device, you pay a repair service fee instead of the full repair costs. The amount depends on your Grover Care option. You can check the repair service fee list in My Tech under the Grover Care section for more information.
If the device is damaged beyond repair, you must pay a percentage of the device's residual value, determined by your Grover Care coverage level. The residual value is the current market value of the device. We calculate the residual value internally and update it monthly.
How to report damage
Please report significant damage within 14 days. We’ll send you a replacement device—if available—so you can keep on enjoying your tech with as little disruption as possible.
